John Benoit, Employee Benefits

John provides service and advice to employers and plan sponsors with health and welfare plans. He has worked in the insurance industry since 1984. In 1994, John co-founded the Maine Health Management Coalition, a mixed model (purchaser and provider) coalition. He also co-founded the Maine Healthcare Purchasing Collaborative.

John has served on numerous healthcare advisory panels under the King and Baldacci administrations. He is a board member to the Hanley Center for Health Leadership and graduated from the first leadership class in 2008. He is also a board member to HomeHealth (VNS). John also serves on the Broker Advisory Council for many health insurance companies. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College.
